NERO SICILIA surfaces reflect the techno-physical potential of the lava stone, with excellent performances and a distinctive and contemporary look.

The natural colours are inspired by the fire from the volcano.

Depending on the areas of extraction, magma creates different properties, which reflect the material and define the surface.

​

Blocks of lava stone are extracted from the quarry, then cut into slabs.

Their natural colour at the moment of extraction is light grey.

​

Slabs are processed in a custom furnace at 1300° C, tracking back the process of fusion. Nerosicilia finishes are obtained by varying the time and temperature.
